Yes, when a parent has been granted access to see grades, they’ll find an “Overall GPA” tile inside of their FERPA portal. If you click on the graduation cap icon at the top of the page, you’ll see your active connections and the types of access that has been shared with you.

Please note if your student is a freshman, grades in the portal won’t appear until the end of their first semester. The portal is designed to show final course grades and overall earned credits, rather than midterms, weekly assignments, or test-by-test details. If you have questions about those types of grades, you’re welcome to connect directly with his professors by email or phone if you’d like to learn more during the semester. Your student will have each professor’s contact info in their course syllabi 😊
